Greenisland Presbyterian Women’s Association

Women play a vital part on the life and work of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and Overseas. PWA gives opportunities for women to share their concern and to use their practical, material and spiritual gifts in all aspects of Church life, in the community and in family life.

PWA PURPOSE

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday each month over autumn and winter, in the Andrew Orr Room, at 8.00pm.

A typical meeting will include: a time of devotion to focus our thoughts on God, a time of information and prayer for a particular aspect of the work supported by our organisation, a speaker or activity which will help us to consider how we can share in God's work and a time of fellowship over a cup of tea when we can share our joys and concerns and encourage each other in the journey of life.

We aim to enable our members to unite together to pray effectively, serve efficiently and glorify God emphatically in ever area of our lives.

We extend a warm welcome to ALL ladies of the congregation, young and not so young to join us on a regular or occasional basis.
